The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts five large events every year. They include:
Annual Banquet
The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce celebrates at our Annual Banquet on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The evening features a social hour at 5:30 pm with a formal dinner at 7 pm, and program to follow. Awards will be given to the Northlander of the Year and Ambassador of the Year.
Business Expo
The true value of the expo is not in the quantity of contacts that you make, but the quality of those contacts. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with fellow business professionals and to showcase your good and services to attendees! The date of this event is March 20, 2013 at the KCI Expo Center. Excellence in Education Banquet
The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the 27th Annual Excellence in Education Banquet on April 23, 2013. A reception will begin at 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 6:00pm.
This unique event brings together 1,000 attendees from eight school districts and two counties in Kansas Citys Northland to acknowledge the important role that schools play in the economic development and quality of life in the area. This banquet will honor outstanding students, teachers, staff, volunteers and business supporters of Northland education. The highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Christa McAuliffe Pioneer in Education Award. This award is given to one outstanding classroom teacher who exhibits the kind of innovation, motivation and spirit demonstrated by Christa McAuliffe.
Golf Tournament
The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce's 22nd Annual Golf Tournament will be held
July 17, 2013. There will be both a morning and afternoon flight.
Auction
On Wednesday, November 6, 2013, from 5-8 pm the Chamber will host the Annual Auction. A portion of the proceeds help provide scholarships for the Chamber scholarship fund. These select scholarships will be awarded to Northland students at the Excellence in Education Banquet in May.
