Leadership Northland

Leadership Northland is a valuable program put on by the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce to help ensure the vitality of the Northland. We provide class participants a planned and continuous source of motivated leaders who are educated about the region, its challenges and opportunities. Classes are trained to accept future leadership roles in the Northland, the Greater Kansas City Area and the region.

Session Dates and Topics for Class of 2011
Sessions are from 8am-5pm, the second Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted.

August 19-20 [Thursday 6pm, ending Friday 3pm] Thursday: Overnight Retreat, Hilton-KCI Friday: Session 1, Hilton-KCI

September 1 [Wednesday evening, 5-7pm] Meet the Membership/Business After Hours, Isle of Capri Casino, Kansas City, 1800 East Front Street

September 9 [Session 2] Teambuilding/Northland Development

October 14 [Session 3] Northland History/Service Project

November 11 [Session 4] Business & Industry

December 9 [Session 5] Education & Healthcare

January 13 [Session 6] City Government

February 8 [Tuesday, Session 7, all day event] Amtrak to Jefferson City, Day at the Capitol

March 10 8am-12:noon [Session 8], 6-9pm Graduation Banquet
