About the Chamber
Message from the 2019 Chair, Darren Hennen
Dear Chamber Members,
Our theme for this year is “Building for the Future” which reflects the Chamber’s evolving role as a leading voice for the Northland. We continue to provide leadership by advocating increased infrastructure development to move our goods, people, and services across the region. The physical “Building” can be seen in development of the new KCI and Buck O’Neil Bridge. As our collective voice “Builds”, the Northland Chamber is often relied upon to provide policy direction on criticial issues facing our region and our state.
“Building for the Future” will require our organization to be nimble and adjust to changing times that impact us across all our business sectors. We must “Build” leadership for the next generation of Northland and Chamber leaders.
While we continue to evolve and build as an organization, we must never lose sight of our core mission - providing business-to-business opportunities to our members. The Chamber directory, which can be found on the Chamber’s website, provides you with quick and easy to read access to all the services our members provide. In turn, we ask that if you have a business need, you turn first to our fellow members. By supporting each other, we will continue “Building for the Future.”
I look forward to the Chamber’s upcoming year. Thank you for your continued support to help us build our organization across the Northland with a dynamic network of influential people and businesses.
Chair of the Board
